Super Granola Recipe

Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Melt butter with salt in small saucepan, low heat
  4. add pecans
  5. Raise to medium heat stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in honey and bown sugar, reduce to low heat
  7. Remove from heat
  8. stir in vanilla
  9. Combine oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and coconut in large bowl
  10. Add liquid mixture to dry mixture and mix well
  11. Spread evenly on baking sheet
  12. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally
  13. Allow to cool
