Granola Recipe Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 teaspoons orange peel
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 2 cups puffed wheat cereal
  • 1/3 cup wheat germ
  • 2 cups puffed corn cereal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Granola Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Boil maple syrup, honey, vanilla, and almond extract in large saucepan until foam develops (3 or 4 minutes)
  3. Immediately stir in oats, rice, cereals, wheat, cinnamon, and orange peel
  4. Spread evenly on 9x13 inch baking sheet
  5. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, until golden brown
  6. Remove and allow to cool before breaking apart
