Honey Granola Recipe (No Oil Added)

This granola recipe is great because it does not require any additional oil added. This granola recipe is a low-fat alternative to many granola recipes which call for a great deal of added oil. Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 8 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup assorted nuts (your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup whole millet
  • 3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 cup -hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine nuts, oats, seeds, flour, salt, and millet in large bowl
  3. In another bowl combine water, vanilla, and honey, mixing together thoroughly
  4. Spread evenly on greased baking sheet
  5. Bake 10 to 20 minutes, stirring as necessary, until golden
  6. Allow to cool

This granola recipe is about as simple as they come. This granola recipe only takes about a half hour, and does not even call for very many ingredients.
