Cran-Raisin Granola Recipe

Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 8 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups mixed raisins and dried cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups wheat germ
  • 1 1/2 cups oat bran
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
  3. Combine oats, oat bran, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, and nuts in a large bowl
  4. Stir brown sugar, maple syrup, oil, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt together in saucepan on medium heat
  5. When liquid mixture begins to boil, pour over dry mixture, stirring together thoroughly
  6. Spread granola mixture evenly onto baking sheets
  7. Bake 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden
  8. Allow to cool
  9. Stir in raisins or cranberries
