Coconut Granola Recipe

Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 7 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1 cup coconut, flaked
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Stir oats, wheat germ, coconut, almonds, and sunflower seeds together in large bowl
  3. in another bowl mixt oil, honey, brown sugar, salt, vanilla, and boiling water together
  4. Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture, stirring together thoroughly
  5. Spread evenly onto large baking sheet
  6. Bake 60 to 90 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden
  7. Allow to cool
