Coconut Crunch Granola Recipe

This is a really great granola recipe I got from my grandmother. She has all different types of granola recipes but this simple granola recipe is her favorite. Of course, as with any granola recipe, you can substitute your own preferred ingredients for a taste tailored directly to your preferences. Otherwise you can just enjoy this granola recipe "as is" because it already tastes delicious.

Time: 60 min.
Makes 5 1/2 cups

Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cup Old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup Wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower or millet seeds
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Raisins

Granola recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
  2. With an electric mixer mix all ingredients together
  3. Spread evenly onto 2 baking sheets
  4. Bake 45 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden
  5. Add raisins
  6. Allow to cool

This granola recipe tastes delicious, and has natural, healthy ingredients, so you know you are doing something good for your body. This granola recipe goes well with your favorite flavor of yogurt, or makes a great cold cereal in a bowl of milk - whatever you prefer.
