California Fig Granola Bar Recipe

Granola Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup california Dried Figs (finely chopped)
- 1 cup crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
Granola Recipe Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Combine oil, honey, and brown sugar in small saucepan over medium heat
- simmer for 2 to 3 minutes
- Combine crisp rice cereal, wheat germ, flaked coconut, almonds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds
- Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture, stirring together thoroughly
- Add figs
- Press granola firmly into ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden
- Allow to cool
- Cut into bars
